Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to Reccurs, including the Reccurs Payer App, merchant web dashboard, payer handoff pages, and related backend services.
Information We Collect
We collect information needed to provide subscription billing and account services. This may include account details such as name, email address, authentication provider identifiers, and contact details; subscription details such as merchant name, item summary, amount, currency, billing schedule, status, and billing history; payment authorization details such as selected payment method, provider references, callback results, authorization status, and transaction or reconciliation records; and support or operational information you provide when contacting us.
Device, Notification, and Local Storage Data
The Reccurs Payer App may collect device and notification information needed for billing updates, including an Expo push token, generated installation identifier, platform, and app version. The app stores authentication sessions in secure device storage and may store non-sensitive app state, such as post-login redirect paths and notification prompt state, in local device storage.
How We Use Information
We use information to authenticate users, show and manage subscriptions, support payer handoff and payment authorization flows, send subscription or billing notifications, provide customer support, detect and prevent fraud or abuse, maintain audit and reconciliation records, improve service reliability, and comply with legal, accounting, security, and regulatory obligations.
Payment Data
Payment credentials are handled by payment providers where applicable. Reccurs receives and stores only the provider references, authorization status, callback data, transaction records, and subscription state needed to operate, reconcile, support, and audit recurring billing. We do not publicly disclose personal or sensitive financial information.
How We Share Information
We share information only when needed to provide the service, operate infrastructure, process payment authorization and billing events, deliver notifications, support users, prevent abuse, or comply with law. These parties may include authentication and database providers, hosting and observability providers, notification providers such as Expo, and payment processors or payment providers such as Xendit or DANA. We do not sell personal or sensitive user data.
Security
We use HTTPS and modern cryptography for data transmitted between the app, our services, and service providers. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel and operational tooling. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we design Reccurs around limited access, auditability, and controlled changes.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain subscription and payment records, resolve disputes, support security and fraud prevention, meet accounting or legal obligations, and enforce agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it unless continued retention is required for legitimate business, legal, security, or compliance reasons.
Children
Reccurs is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Reccurs, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
Your Choices and Rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal information, subject to identity verification and legal or operational retention requirements. You can also disable push notifications in your device settings. To make a privacy request, contact us using the details below.
